I thought I would just write a little post on one of my all-time favourite face masks - The mask of Magnaminty. Quite spur of the moment, but I feel like if there is anyone who hasn't tried this yet, I need to tell them about it!
I like this mask for so many different reasons, here they are;
- It smells of minty-freshness
- It works well for my Combo-oily skin type
- You can also use it on the body
- It dosent go off quickly like the LUSH fresh face masks
- It helps clear up my blemishes when I break out
- It exfoliates as you remove it
So without rambling on too much about why I like it, I just want to say if you like minty masks and are in the market for a new face mask, Maybe try this baby out for size! Its a staple for me and I feel like its not talked about too much but is a lovely product and is not too strong or offensive on the skin like some LUSH products can be.
Have you tried this mask? What did you think?

*Belt - Edited
*Bag - Marc B
Boots - eBay
Coat - ASOS Marketplace
Lips - MAC Rebel
This outfit was part of my autumn fashion trends video on youtube (and slightly adapted as I thought black & gold also look gorgeous together) which I have included above incase you wanted to see =]
I have fallen head over heels for this MOTEL dress, It is STUNNING! It looks even better in person. I feel so comfortable in it as I dont often like to get my arms out and also the low back still hides your bra and its not too revealing at the front - Perfect!
The bag is the perfect night-out size and colour too, I have been in need of some bags in a different colour other than black recently and this one is so cute and classy!
Its not often I post more nighttime outfits so I thought it might be a nice change.
Hope you're all well!

This is another of my 'everyday' kind of outfits, I was just running some errands and kind of threw it together. Its been quite chilly recently and I realised when I headed out that I should have added a scarf! but anyhow, perhaps its an idea for how to style a maxi skirt for autumn.
Daniel Sandler demonstrating the Clarisonic Mia2
The other week I popped along to a Clarisonic event where we had a talk about the new Clarisonic Mia 2 and also had a mini demonstration on how it is used and how it is different to its predecessor.
If you are not familiar with the Clarisonic it is basically a handheld cleansing brush which sonically massages your skin, it is supposed to improve your skins circulation, even out skin tone, clear away traces of makeup/impurities, clear scars and marks on the face and minimise breakouts (Plus even more).
The first Clarisonic models were the original model, which you can attach a body brush to also and then the Mia - Now there is the Mia 2. The new model features two speeds, It pulses to let you know when to move on to the next area of your face (which is one minute in total) and it comes with a handy travel case.
Have I noticed a difference?
I have been using the Clarisonic now for around two weeks, For just over a week I used it day and night and now I just use it at night as I feel it cleanses off last traces of makeup amazingly. I have noticed that my skin has a much more even complexion and also appears brighter and more glowy, some dark patches which were previously apparent on my skin have been reduced, however I have broken out from using it (Which is extremely normal at first, its sometimes called 'skin purging' as it draws out the impurities from deep within the skin) So i'm waiting for that to clear up at the moment and then i'll see how it performs over a longer amount of time.
Would I recommend it/is it worth the price?
The price is what held me back from purchasing a Clarisonic for SO long. I had always been interested but unsure wether it was worth it. I defiantly think it is worth the money and it is an effective and very handy piece of equiptment. I am always excited to use it at the end of the day, I find it a fun step in my otherwise mundane nightly makeup removal routine.
I know I babbled quite a bit, I could type forever sometimes haha but i'll leave it there for now,
What are your thoughts on the Clarisonic?
Top - H&M DIY / *Faux leather trousers - Missguided / Bag - Pop botique / Necklace - H&M / *Boots - Missguided / Lips - MAC Rebel / Cardi - American Apparel / *Bracelet - Regal rose
I have acquired some new bits and bobs recently as I have been trying to build up my A/W wardrobe - This is one of my favourite things to do as I love layering up items and adding more texture and diversity to my looks. (Well, trying to!)
Leather is one of my favourite things to style and thats what this look is based around. This outfit is quite a casual one but to amp it up I would add heels and a jacket/blazer for warmth.
Top - Topshop / Jacket - Topshop (& DIY) (Similar here) / Skirt - River island / Boots - Monki / Bag - Missguided / Beanie - Ebay / Small rings - Regal Rose / Necklace - Fashionology / Nails - Topshop Rainy day
Today I went to west end to see if I could pick up some winter staples, It was quite a successful trip, I even had to tear myself away from lots of things in many shops otherwise it would have been very painful on the old pocket! In Urban outfitters I always go straight to the SALE section and thats where I found all my UO bits today! Might show them in a haul soon =]
It was just warm enough for no tights today so I bared it all in the pins department, wore my newish RI skirt which I think is such a good bargain and for that 'pop' of colour I added a neon beanie - All the rage at the mo!
(Oh also sorry about some of the images being blurry, The boy took the snaps and sometimes it went off the rails but he's lovely for doing it for me! Much better than a tripod haha!)
Soap & Glory - Sugar Crush
This is one of my most recent favourite products and I thought I would do a little review and share it with you incase none of you have tried it yet! Its a body scrub from Soap and Glory (picked it up in boots) and its something that I had my eye on for around a year before I finally just picked it up! I had my eye on it because I smelt it once and it smelt like HEAVEN.
It actually smells like cola bottles but its fresh at the same time and I Haven't smelt any other body product like it. As you can see it contains Brown sugar, lime, almond oil and Macadamia grains. It leaves my skin exfoliated, soft and also quite moisturised. I like when scrubs arn't too harsh on the skin and this one isnt atall.
It dosent take long while massaging it into your skin for the grains kind of dissappear down the drain, now this might be with every product, but what im trying to say is - A little dosent go a long way and I have to take a few scoops a shower for my whole body. Also I think the price is high! its around £8 and this is another reason I didnt pick it up for so long. Its not a high-end price tag obviously but I dont think its cheap for a Boots product!
I would defiantly re-purchase it though and this product has made me want to try so much more from the Soap & Glory body wash range, They do so many amazing products.
Have any of you tried this and what did you think? What is your favourite Soap & Glory product?
