Faced with the challenge to style an array of bohemian summer pieces with the city as my backdrop, I took to the streets of London accessories and lipstick in hand, to try my hand at creating a summer-in-the-city outfit out of each and every beautiful piece.

The pieces I am wearing in each outfit apart from a few of the accessories are from one of my absolute favourite brands, Free People. I have written about and styled many of their gorgeous boho-chic dresses on the blog before.
They without fault, always make me feel more beautiful, radiant and feminine when I wear their designs.
This is something that can be quite hard to achieve during summer in London as we never know what we’re going to get weather wise and so I don’t aways know if I can head out in that pretty frilly dress for the day. What I try to do is mix up the summer styles with a bit of the London grunge look and pairing floaty items with some tough ankle boots usually works wonders too.

Free people have recently launched a UK app which you can shop via and if you wanted to get your hands on some of their items in person then they have a pop-up store here in London on Kings Road (which I always visit when i’m in the area) or if beauty & cosmetics are more your thing then you can check out their newly launched  beauty & wellness section on their website.

If you’re up for winning a £500 Free people wardrobe (gift card) then I am running a competition with the lovely people at Free People and you can enter over on their website if you click here
You can enter until the 31st July and the winner will be contacted on the 1st August.

Lastly, if you post yourself in one of their lovely creations, make sure to tag them #FPMe to become a part of their online style community 🙂

Thank you Free People for giving me this awesome styling opportunity and I hope this post can give some summer styling inspiration!
