I used to end up buying countless tops/t-shirts and accessories every season from various high-street stores in an effort to update my wardrobe…but I found that they always ended up at the back of my wardrobe, I just didn’t grab for them. I was trying to refresh my wardrobe but I was going about it in the wrong way.
These days i’m much more about updating my wardrobe with stand-out pieces, which I am sure to get a lot of wear out of and most importantly that are of good quality. The older I get the more I see the difference between cheap fabrics and high-quality fabrics & materials. It’s the way they fall on the body, the way that they wash and dry and it’s also the way that they make you feel.
These are pieces that I have been eyeing up recently from &Otherstories, Topshop and ASOS. (I am particularly obsessed with Stories at the moment!) I think each of them can be styled in countless ways and I would feel super comfortable in them all too.
I’m just gutted I can’t nab them all at once!
